Langtang is a region in Nepal to the north of kathmandu and bordering Tibet.It is saved as Langtang National park and has a number of high peaks ,including Langtang Lirung (7246m) About 4,500 people stay inside the park and many depend on it for timber and firewood.The majority of people in Langtang are Tamang.About 25% of the park is forested.We can find trees like deciduous Oak,Maple and evergreens like Pine and different types of Rhododendron .

Animals like Red Pandas,Himalayan Thar are found in Langtang The park contains Gosainkunda Lake which is one of the important cultural heritage Of Hindus.Pilgrimages come here in August .Not only this,Kyanjin Gompa which is another spiritual site of the Buddhist is also present in langtang. We can find lot number of Tourists going Langtang for different purposes like Trekking,climbing and white-water rafting e.t.c So,Langtang is also one of the appropriate place for tourists to visit for Trekking or for expedition.
